Managing Your Agents

The Agents page lists every agent you have built and is the way in to each one's conversations, analytics, configuration, and knowledge base.

Overview

Select Agents in the left sidebar, under External Agents. The page shows one card per agent. From here you create new agents and open any existing one.

Reading your list of agents

Each agent card shows the agent’s name, its avatar, its description, and its status:

Status

What it means

Live

Published and answering visitors

Draft

Created but not yet published, so visitors cannot reach it

Inactive

Switched off

Above the cards, a summary counts how many of your agents are live. A card that has been busy today also shows a live count, such as “3 chats today”.

Creating an agent

Select New Agent at the top right, or the New Agent tile at the end of the grid.

If you have no agents yet, the page shows Build Your First Agent with three ways in:

Tile

What it does

Build from Your Profile

“Paste your Instagram or TikTok.” RightAsk reads your profile and drafts the agent for you. Recommended

Guided Setup

“Answer a few questions.” Opens the ten-step setup wizard

Browse Templates

“Pick one and make it yours.” Opens the ready-made agent gallery

Build from Your Profile is the fastest route and skips the setup questions entirely. See Build an Agent from Your Instagram or TikTok.

If you have reached the agent limit for your plan, selecting Guided Setup shows “Agent limit reached. Upgrade to Pro for more agents and advanced analytics.” and takes you to your billing settings.

Opening an agent

Select any agent card. The agent opens on its Conversations tab, with a row of tabs across the top:

Tab

What it is for

Conversations

Every chat this agent has had with visitors

Analytics

This agent’s performance metrics and AI insight breakdowns

Configuration

Name, personality, messages, appearance, widget settings, business hours, auto-tagging

Knowledge Base

The documents this agent answers from

Beside the tabs you see the agent’s name, its status, and (when the agent is not yet published) a Publish button. Select Back to agents to return to your list of agents.

If you have more than one agent, an agent selector appears beside the tabs so you can switch without going back to the Agents page.

Publishing an agent

An agent marked Draft is not reachable by visitors. Select Publish beside the tabs. A confirmation tells you the agent is live, and its status changes to Live.

What happens next

Once an agent is live, share its hosted page link or add its embed code to your website. Conversations appear on that agent’s Conversations tab, and its metrics appear on Analytics.

Troubleshooting

An agent card shows Draft and I cannot find the Publish button. Open the agent, then look beside the tabs at the top of the page. The Publish button appears there only while the agent is unpublished.

The conversations-today count on a card shows zero even though there were chats. That count comes from data loaded by the Overview page. If you came straight to Agents in a fresh session, visit Overview once and return.

The Agents page is empty but I know I created an agent. Reload the page. The page refreshes on its own when you return to the browser tab after a minute or more.

Selecting New Agent shows an upgrade message. You have reached your plan’s agent limit. Delete an agent you no longer need from its Configuration tab, or upgrade from Account > Billing & Plans.
