Overview
Build from Your Profile is the fastest way to create an agent. You paste a link to your own Instagram or TikTok profile, RightAsk reads what is publicly on it, and it drafts an agent that already knows your niche, your tone, and what you offer. You review what it found, correct anything wrong, and it builds the agent.
This is a different route from the setup wizard. You are not answering the ten setup questions, and you are not filling in messages yourself.
Before you start
You need an Instagram or TikTok profile. No other platforms are supported yet.
The profile must be your own. You are asked to confirm that before RightAsk reads it.
Your plan must have room for another agent.
How to build an agent from your profile
Step 1: Open the profile route
Select Agents in the left sidebar, under External Agents, then select Build from Your Profile. On an empty Agents page it is the first of three tiles, marked Recommended.
You can also reach it from the last screen of onboarding, where it appears as Build My Agent from Social.
Step 2: Paste your profile link
The screen reads Paste Your Profile Link.
Enter your profile address in the Profile link field, for example
https://instagram.com/yourname.Select the This is my profile checkbox to confirm the profile belongs to you.
Select Build My Agent.
The button stays unavailable until both the link and the confirmation are in place.
Step 3: Wait while RightAsk reads your profile
RightAsk reads your profile and narrates what it is picking up as it goes. Select Start Over at any point to go back and use a different link.
Step 4: Check what it found
Next you see This is what we found. Anything off? Fix it below.
Four things are shown, and every one of them is editable:

Brand color | The colour your agent uses |
Correct anything that is wrong, then select Confirm and Build My Agent.
Step 5: Your agent is live
When the build finishes, the screen confirms that your agent is live. Select Go to Overview to leave the flow.
What happens next
Your agent is created and live. From here you can treat it like any other agent:
Open it from Agents to reach its Conversations, Analytics, Configuration, and Knowledge Base tabs.
Adjust anything the profile read got wrong on its Configuration tab. Nothing is locked in.
Upload documents on its Knowledge Base tab so it can answer from your own content. The profile read gives your agent its voice, not your source material.
Share it using its embed code or hosted page link.
Troubleshooting
The Build My Agent button will not turn on. Both the profile link and the This is my profile confirmation are required. Check that the link is filled in and the checkbox is selected.
My link is not recognised. Only Instagram and TikTok are supported. Check the address is a profile link rather than a link to a single post, and that it is spelled correctly.
What it found is wrong. Correct it on the review screen before selecting Confirm and Build My Agent. Anything you miss can still be changed afterwards on the agent’s Configuration tab.
I see “Agent Limit Reached”. Your plan has no room for another agent. Delete an agent you no longer need, or upgrade from Account > Billing & Plans.
I would rather answer the setup questions myself. Select Start Over to leave the flow, then choose Guided Setup on the Agents page. See Setting Up Your Agent With the Quick Start Wizard.
