Overview

RightAsk is an AI-powered business platform. It lets you build AI chat agents that talk to visitors on your website, capture leads, and answer questions automatically. You can also manage customer conversations, contacts, contracts, invoices, and digital assets — all in one place.

When you log in for the first time, you land on your Dashboard. The dashboard has two states: a welcome screen if you have not set up an agent yet, and a live overview once you have.

What you see on first login

When you log in and have no agents set up, the dashboard shows:

Welcome to Your Dashboard Create your first agent with guided setup, explore pre-built templates, or skip ahead and configure later.

You will see three options:

Card

What it does

Quick Start

Opens a guided setup wizard to create your first agent step by step

Browse Templates

Shows pre-built agent templates you can start from

Skip for Now

Takes you straight to your inbox without setting up an agent yet

Most new users should start with Quick Start.

Creating your first agent

  1. On the Dashboard welcome screen, select Quick Start.

  2. Follow the setup wizard. It walks you through naming your agent, uploading knowledge base documents, setting its appearance and response style, and testing it before you go live.

  3. At the final step, copy the embed code to add the agent to your website, or share the hosted page link directly.

The wizard has multiple steps — you can go back and change any setting before you finish.

Your dashboard after setup

Once your first agent is live, the dashboard switches to a live overview. It greets you with Welcome back, [your name] and displays:

  • At a Glance — key metrics: conversations, leads, active contacts

  • Insights — sentiment breakdown, lead funnel snapshot, and knowledge gap detection

  • Recent Conversations — the five most recent chats your agent handled

  • Your Agents — a status card for each agent you have created

  • Quick Actions — shortcuts to common tasks: Create New Agent, Generate Contract, Create Invoice, Browse Templates, View Analytics

The dashboard updates automatically. You do not need to refresh the page to see new conversations or contact counts.

What happens next

After you complete the Quick Start wizard, your agent is live and ready to chat with visitors. Share the hosted page link or add the embed code to your website to start receiving conversations.

When conversations come in, they appear in Agents → Inbox. Contacts captured through chat appear in Contacts. Your Dashboard updates automatically with new data.

Troubleshooting

I see “Welcome to Your Dashboard” but I already set up an agent. Your agent may not have finished processing yet, or there was a brief delay loading your data. Wait a moment and reload the page. If the problem continues, check Agents → Configuration to confirm your agent was saved.

The Quick Start wizard does not load. Make sure you are logged in. If the page is blank or shows an error, try clearing your browser cache and logging in again.

I cannot find a section in the sidebar. Some sections only appear once you have set up an agent or connected an integration. If a section is missing, check that your account is active and that you are fully logged in.

I set up an agent but do not see any conversations. Your agent needs visitors to chat with. Share your hosted page link or add the embed code to your website. Conversations appear in real time once someone starts a chat.
